Hi everyone, let’s talk about DuPont FilmTec RO membrane production plants.

At the very beginning, there was only one factory in Minneapolis, USA.

Later, DuPont built a second plant in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

Ever since this plant went online, most BW30-400, BW30-400IG and BW30-365 membranes sold in China are made in Saudi Arabia. For BW30FR-400/34 anti-fouling membranes, both US-made and Saudi-made versions are available on the Chinese market.

The biggest update came last year. DuPont acquired a state-owned Chinese membrane manufacturer — Sinochem (Ningbo) Runwo Memtech. This becomes the 3rd global RO production base. Starting in 2026, DuPont RO membranes manufactured locally in Ningbo, China have officially entered the Asia-Pacific market.

These three manufacturing bases are all officially certified with the same quality standards.
